Kodak
Park Building Implosions
September
15TH, 2007
The implosion
of Building 50 occurred on a dreary Saturday morning at 7:00AM.
I woke up around a quarter after 6, and it started raining. There
would be spotty rain throughout the morning, and the cloud cover
made things much darker than they could have been. Sunrise was
at 6:49am, so it was still pretty dark. There wasn't a really good
opportunity to view this implosion, as it was a smaller story building
than 23 or 9. Plus it was a little farther away than Building 9,
and we viewed from the same location as before. There was the threat
of closed viewing due to wind direction, bu fortunately that did
not occur. Implosion went off around 7:00 AM exactly. My dad and
I watched and enjoyed it. 3 Implosions in one year so far. Wow.
Hope I can see 69 and 65 next month.
